Book Checkouts

Students at Hoover may check out books and other materials any time they come to the media center if they have returned materials previously checked out.
Materials that are lost or damaged must be replaced or paid for.

Parents with questions or concerns regarding book checkouts
are welcome to call the media center at
507-388-5202 from 7:45 to 3:30,


Student checkout limits are as follows:
Kindergarten ~ 1 book
First grade ~ 2 books
Second grade ~ 2 books
Third grade ~ 2 books
Fourth grade ~ 2 books
Fifth grade ~ 2 books

All classes at Hoover Elementary come to the media center once per week for 50 minutes to check out books, learn information and literature skills, how to use the media center resources, and computer and other technology skills.

Students are welcome in the media center at 7:45 to check out books, to work on technology projects or to volunteer in the media center. Visitors and volunteers are always welcome in the media center.
