As building principal, It is a pleasure to welcome you to Hoover Elementary School. I am honored to serve as the principal of a school with such highly motivated staff, dedicated parents, and remarkable students. The learning community here at Hoover is next to none and is not only reflected in our daily work together, but was also recognized in 2017 as Hoover accepted the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award. 

For those new to our school community, Hoover is a K-5 neighborhood school located in upper North Mankato. We currently enroll about 475 students. We strive to ensure that Hoover is a place where students and their families are celebrated for their unique talents, gifts, and cultures. As the principal, I value collaborative partnerships focused on equality and inclusion for all. I am eager to work together to ensure students have a high quality educational experience and access to opportunities and resources that will foster personal, social, and academic growth. 

To that end, I very much look forward to connecting and working with each individual who walks through our front door. Together we are better and stronger! We have many opportunities for families and community members to be involved in our school and highly encourage folks to join us in our learning!
